We are passionate about providing our community with quality, authentic food from scratch with a grab and go element for those extra busy days. Our seasonal menu comes out on Wednesdays and alternates every two weeks. We make it super easy for you to place your order and pick up your meals in our grab and go cooler. Hi, I’m Allie!

I am a 36 year old mother and wife who has been in the hospitality industry for the last 18 years. I started at 18 years old when I was in nursing school and ended up leaving my program to pursue my dream of becoming a Chef. I’ve had the pleasure of working all over Ann Arbor & Detroit, mostly notably Zingerman’s Roadhouse, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms, Parks & Rec Diner and BonBonBon.

I became the Executive Chef at The Standard Bistro & Larder in 2019 and once the pandemic hit we decided we needed to pivot to better serve our community and the idea of Lala’s was born - an elevated comfort food spot with a fresh & funky menu that rotates often and helps folks expand their culinary mind.

Fun facts: I’m a collector of vintage pyrex and lover of bourbon, coffee, and salt. I don’t remember my natural hair color anymore and have more cookbooks then most libraries.
